The White Mountain summits weather----Wednesday oct 31, A warm front is approaching form the midwest, but in front of it there is snow. sleet and rain. HIKERS BEWARE SNOW WITH START ON THE SUMMIT AT ABOUT 7:00-8 tonight. (DEPENDING ON IF THERE IS A CHANGE-OVER TO SLEET OR FREEZING RAIN WE COULD BE SEEING SIGNIFICANT SNOW TOTALS.6-12 PLUS. IF IT DOES CHANGE TO SLEET THEN 3-6. HEAVY ICING IS EXPECTED WITH FOG BRINGING VISIBILTY DOWN TO ABOUT 100 FT OR LESS.)overnight hikers take note about this. I would not stay overnight tonight. snow or sleet showers will most likely linger into Thursday. Lets hope this warm air doesn't ride over the front too fast..its time for some good snows on washington. the weather for the rest of the week--
