Date(s) Skied: December 27, 2012
Resort or Ski Area: Sugarloaf
Conditions: POOOOOOOOOOWDER
Trip Report: Great day at the Loaf. Probably had 10" on the ground by days end. Superquad lift was a ZOO so we stuck to the Bucksaw, West Mountain and Whiffletree lifts most of the day. Narrow winding trails were loads of fun such as Poleline and Buckboard off Whiffletree, and Glancer off Buckswaw. Upper west mountain is a great trail on a powder day as well.
Can't complain about today. Tomorrow should be MINT if not too windy. We have other commitments so we won't be skiing but go out and get it! What a great start the season.
Tough day for pics due to the NUKING SNOW but a pic and short video on my blog. http://maineskifamily.blogspot.com/2012/12/ski-trip-report-sugarloaf-december-27.html
