local bc 1/23/10

Today I finally hit the moderate- to low-angle woods I'd been eyeing on the side of NELSAP area Brake Hill, town-owned land known as Craven Woods. With a good 8" or more of snowpack, the area's potential was fully apparent - I look forward to many more runs here. Today the snow was fairly crusty because of sleet when it initially fell a week ago and a couple spells above freezing since, so it wasn't great for turns but fun nonetheless.

Unfortunately the battery on the still camera was dead but here are a couple screengrabs from the Flip
