Hand And Toe Warmers

Are back in stock at Waltham, Mass. Costco this week.
I thought they only stocked them in the fall. Lucky me. I ran out of toe warmers.

Box of 40 hand warmers are about $13 ~ 33 cents/pair
Box of 30 toe warmers are about $14 ~47 cents/pair

At Stowe they are $3 each.
At the store across from the Matterhorn they are $1.23.

BTW, I've noticed that the shelf life of these things is about 2 years.
Anyone know how you're supposed to store them? Is leaving them in a freezing garage OK?

i buy handwarmers by the box at home depot, comes to about 35 cents per pair.

dont do the toewarmers, we tried them for the kids but they didnt work as those things are air activated and not much air gets into the boots, they didnt like the feel of them either

I used them for all my kids. Just take them out about 45 minutes ahead of time to heat up, then they are all set. Were you putting them on the top of their feet? They are not even noticable when you do it that way.

I notice that the toe warmers heat up pretty quickly...and they are supposed to work in confined spaces. I have to put them on top of the toe, can't get my boots on if I try on the bottom.

The handwarmers do need more outside time and you do need to open them up to the air for a while before they really get going.

Has anyone used the whole foot warmers? I'll be outside all day (not skiing or doing anything physically taxing) and I was wondering how well they work.

We sell them and the customers really like them. They are not good for a properly fitting ski boot, as they take up too much space, but a work boot they would be nice.
