Happy New Year to Everyone!
This was a stellar day with wonderful snow, temps in the upper 20's, snow falling all morning, lots of friends & family, and no lift lines. There were seriously the best conditions here all winter, so far. The snow was building up and it stayed light and fluffy all day. Deer Run opened, Tongora opened, even the trails with all natural snow and "thin cover" were great skiing.
There were no lift lines to really worry about. I don't know why people would ski anywhere else.
Skied and lifted 28.8 miles today. Here is the Garmin GPS data.
I took some vid today, but really can't get it uploaded on this local Catskills dialup connection.
