Just saw this in the ACT 250 database.

Pre Act 250 - Haynes Trail, widening to meet FIS requirements for safety
No other info posted yet.

Does anyone have anymore info on this? Haynes is already a pretty wide trail.

I thought Hayride at Stowe was as well.......

It was widened in the passed 10 years or so to meet FIS requirements.

Right now there are only 3 FIS Super G trails in the East. Burke, Sugarloaf, and Whiteface. So maybe Jay is making a 4th
I don't know if they have enough vertical on the Jet. 350m is the minimum for a Super G. They would be really close to that. Super G specs are 40m wide. They would definitely need to open up Haynes for that.

There are many more than that. Sugarloaf and Attitash both come to mind. Potentially Sunday River too. Here is a link to FIS Homologations. Type in USA in the "Nation" category and every FIS approved trail will be on it.

Stowe and Okemo, and Sunday River. Okemo even has a DH trail.

I'm not sure that that qualifies as "many." But it is 2X.

Sugarbush too. Orford, Mont Sainte Anne and Le Massif also have FIS SG runs with St Anne and Massif boasting Downhill runs as well. Granted MSA and Le Massif are a trek away from New England.

Edit: In the spirit of particularity, the original comment was the "East". I believe the "mountain with FIS approved Super G runs" count stands at 11.
