Azonic Switchback Pedal

BK.jpg

The Azonic Switchback Pedal keeps you on the pedal when you want to be and gets you off the pedal when you don't. It does this with removable Allen pins that allow you to custom-configure the pedal and to replace blown-out pins after near-death experiences. The best part-it does all of these things on a budget, which fits very nicely into the freeriders' "I'll break it anyway" way of thinking.

The Azonic Switchback pedal starts with a tough-as-nails (literally) chromoly spindle. True, the chromoly spindle isn't the lightest on Earth, but its reputation as being battleship-tough is well-earned. Sealed cartridge bearings keep things moving smoothly along, even in muddy or dusty conditions, with no maintenance required. The bombproof extruded aluminum pedal cages not only fight off nature's roughest attacks, but keep the weight down to a manageable half-pound per pedal.

Arguably, the most important part of the pedal is the pins. The Switchback features not only the removable pins, but the Allen wrench you'll need to configure your pedals. The number of pins you use depends on how grippy you want your pedals to be. Most riders will use all of them, but some folks like to be able to get their feet off more easily. The removable pins also allow you to replace damaged pins, adding to the pedal's lifespan.
The Azomic Switchback Pedal comes in one size. It's available in Black or White.
