Catskill Kids Bike Recovery Ride On Sunday, October 9
September 27, 2011 ~ Belleayre Mountain invites people to participate in the 32nd Annual Fall Festival held at the Overlook Lodge on October 8 & 9 of Columbus Day Weekend. The 32nd year of this classic fall event promises to be as exciting and entertaining as festivals in the past. As always, the Fall Festival will feature the prestigious Craft Fair showcasing local artisans, the Uber Winter Equipment & Apparel Sale for great discounts on skiing and riding gear for the coming season, the Sky Ride to whisk people to the summit for spectacular views of the Catskill foliage, traditional German Oktoberfest Food, an expanded Fair Food Court, an Outdoor Expo and much more. In addition, Belleayre will again be offering the $99 3-packs of Anytime Tickets to our patrons. These will only be available onsite at the Festival with a limit of two 3-packs per family. ID is required. Belleayre is currently taking applications for vendors and spaces are filling up fast. For registration forms or additional information, please contact Belleayre Monday - Friday between the hours of 7am - 3:30pm at 845-254-5600 ext. 2473 or go to www.belleayre.com to download a vendor application. Rates are $125 in the tent provided by Belleayre, or $100 for vendors who bring their own. New vendors have a discounted rate of $75 in the tent or $50 for vendors who bring their own. The expanded food court is also soliciting new food vendors. Food vendors should call 845-254-5600 x1316. Be sure not to miss this classic fall festival.
The Catskill MTN Velo Club is proud to present a benefit ride to help purchase new bikes for children of flooded and low-income homes of the Catskill Region. Registration is $30, but additional donations are welcome in the form of check the morning of the event. All proceeds will go toward new bikes and helmets to kids who either lost their bikes in the recent floods that hit the Catskill Region, or those who are unable to afford them. Parking and registration will be in the Overlook Lodge Tomahawk Parking lot. This fundraiser will be held on the same day as the Belleayre Fall Fest & Craft Fair, so after ride be sure to stay and shop for gifts, goodies, food, and drinks.
