Bode Miller, took 2nd in today's GS, which was enough to put him over the top and win the overall World Cup. Kudo's to BODE, who is the first American to win the overall since Phil Mahre in 1983.

Last race of the season is a slalom tomorrow. Benjamin Raich, the overall number 2 already locked up the slalom discipline title.

Congrats to Bode, the best thing for US ski racing in over 20 years. He truly is the best skier in the world right now.

Way to go Bode! A big statement for US alpine racing. Nice to see that we can compete on the same level as the Euros.

cannon seems to defently have the racing craze after bode, when i went there, there were three races set up and a bunch of nuts going down the mountain like they were in a DH race( one of those nuts got air and hit a side of a pine tree taking of a ton of branches and just kept going,it was pretty funny)
