First make sure you wax as well as Trekchick did on her picture. :wink: Chafing from the fanny pack can make for an uncomfortable day of skiing.
Second, buying a late 80's neon retro pack will make you more visible to ski patrol and might even glow through the snow in the case of an avalanche.
Third, make sure it's way too small. It will force your belly to hang over your skis which will make it easier to hold an edge on hardpack.
