When you do this, you will be charged $10 to your cell phone provider.

Heifer.org (which is another great organization) is also taking donations.

Just heard that Pat Robertson, that great sage of all things compassionate and humane, said that the Haitians had this coming to them because they made a pact with the devil way back when that drove the French out of Haiti.

Let us pray.

From Sugarloaf on Facebook:

Sugarloaf will donate $1 from every lift ticket sold on Saturday to support American Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti. If you already have a ticket or pass and want to help, we will be collecting donations in the Base Lodge...

They do send a confirmation email that you have to respond to before you get charged.

Heard this fool this morning. Pat sure loves a vengeful god. Insane. Wish he would just keep his venom to himself. May the people of Haiti receive all the help and support they need and deserve!

Loon is involved as well... Boyne nationwide effort.

I just got this email:

Greetings from Loon Mountain,

Here's a quick update to let you know that, when you join us for this weekend's Independence Celebration festivities, you can help the Haitian Relief Fund at the same time. Loon Mountain and all Boyne resorts across the country will be donating one dollar from every lift ticket sold this Saturday, January 16, to support American Red Cross Relief Efforts in Haiti.

International aid groups estimate that three million Haitians have been affected by the earthquake, with the death toll expected in the tens of thousands. The Red Cross is currently addressing Haiti's most imperative needs by supplying food, water, temporary shelter, medical help and emotional support.

Individual guest donations are encouraged and will be accepted all weekend, from Saturday, January 16 -Monday, January 18. Donations can be made at all ticket windows, Snow Sports Information Desks and in the coffee shops located in the Octagon and Governor's lodges.

For those who are unable to ski or ride Loon this weekend but are interested in helping, donations can be made at www.redcross.org or by calling 1-800-REDCROSS (1-800-733-2767). Help can also be given by texting "Haiti" to 90999 to send a $10 donation to the Red Cross.

Don't miss this weekend's fantastic fun celebration, and help the Haitian Relief Fund at the same time.

Cheers,
Susan

You got that right -- as a matter of fact it is the POLAR opposite of what Christ would teach .

Pat Robertson is a senile and dangerous bigot whose shameful attitude sullies religion in general and offends those who do believe in any higher order .

Thank God most faiths/churches are lining up drives now to help . The Haitians are our brothers and need our help . The devastation is beyond belief .

Got a text message from Wachusett earlier...

They are donating $5 from every lift ticket sold online this weekend (Sat-Mon) to the Red Cross Haiti relief fund.

Don't know what percent of their sales are done online, but that could be a pretty significant chunk of change.

Hunters in it as well!

"Hello from Hunter Mountain! We wanted to let you know that in addition to ALL of the awesome stuff going on this weekend: live bands, DJs, bar promotions, fireworks & more, we've got some special promotions going on to benefit the victims of the recent Haiti earthquake. Read the press release below for more info!

Hunter Mountain hopes to donate tens of thousands of dollars to survivors of the recent earthquake in Haiti , with the help of its Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend visitors.

Hunter Mountain will be offering a variety of ways for those to contribute to the relief effort at hand. Visiting skiers & snowboarders will be encouraged to donate a dollar at any point-of-sale location throughout the resort.

Raffle tickets will also be sold during Après Ski bar promotions sponsored by Dutchess Beverage & Anheuser Busch, who along with Hunter Mountain will be giving away thousands of dollars worth of prizes on both Saturday and Sunday. All proceeds from the raffles will be donated directly to the relief effort. Hunter Mountain will also personally match a percentage of all donations collected over the course of the weekend.

He's a master of spin warp. He can distort anything to match his agenda. There is just enough ambiguity in the bible that he has an easy out when he's wrong and plenty of words (often taken out of context) to support whatever he's thinking today.

I cannot imagine he ever passed a math or science course where more often than not, there is a definitive answer. He would never pass muster in a scientific career where peer review is required.

Roll your own religion.

He's not the fool. Just another scammer. It's the people that follow him and the media that follows him like a puppy that are the real fools.
