Resort or Ski Area: Jack Frost
Conditions: Machine Groomed Packed Powder
Trip Report: Hit the slopes at 9:30 to machine groomed packed powder/ corderoy and 19 degrees F.
Best day of skiing this year. No crowds. Blue skys. No wind.
Was pleasently surprised driving up the N.E. Ext. of the PA Turnpike to see natural snow on the ground. They had about 3" two days before. The conditions were great and the whole place was completely groomed. No ice anywhere. The corderoy skied in nicely as the day wore on.
Hit Big Boulder for night skiing on the same ticket. Some slopes had been ungroomed the previous night, but overall the skiing was very good considering the recent weather.
