We've heard a lot of great things about Red Mountain and Rossland in BC
Canada. Anyone have any experience ? How's the powder? noticed a site
that has specials for limited amount of newly
constructed luxury suites - the rates look pretty good compared to
other places we've stayed at.. i think the link was
http://www.redmountaincondo.com .. Im thinking of booking a stay
for the three of us in either February or December (depends on time off
work)...

Go.................

Serious hill, worth about 3 days max. Make a circle of it by going to Whitewater in Nelson and then Fernie. This was at one time referred to as the powder triangle by powder magazine (early mid 90s). Fly into Spokane and rent a 4WD, go where it is snowing. Pretty easy. Grab a cat day at Valhalla powder cats in Nelson. Do this standby (300 CA). I have skied BC annually since the mid 90s and will continue to do so until I retire there in the next 5 - 10 years. BC simply rocks, both Nelson and Rossland are fantastic towns. Check it out.
