repaired Salomon s912 toe piece
I traded for a pair of s912's from someone on TGR and when they came they had this hole in the toe piece:
Not a big deal, and I was told they had been tested ok. With some time on my hands (and no snow here in the east right now) I decided to fix 'em. I didn't think to take any pics during the process, but all it was anyway was mixing some epoxy, fitting a piece of paper in behind the hole so the epoxy wouldn't stick the body or wing, and then dremel/sand the cured epoxy patch and paint with silver sparkly nail polish. voila:
Not too bad. I didn't continue the epoxy around to the left because I didn't want to take a chance of interfering with the wing, etc.
