The day after WF got +40 degree temps and a minor monsoon, it was skiing like a typical north east mountain, child and icy in spots. Still, there were such small crowds, and people were cheery. I had a great time my first time there. Packed powder, icy patches.

I would have expected pure ice. Looks skiable. How much was open? Any woods passable up there?

There was a lot of ice, but avoidable for most Advanced Int skiers. I didn't do glades, heard they were closed. But that was 5 days ago.

Hopefully its decent in 2 weeks when I am up there...
