They are all about the cheese (fondue)! This is the best "bad" commercial for a ski area I've ever seen:
So much cheese... looking forward to getting to Black next weekend.
And ski with Suzie Chapstick!Makes me want to get my skis shined up and grab a stick of Juicy Fruit.
I watched it twice it was so good. I also watched the You Tube video regarding the long term plans with names of the new hike to trails. Champagne Problems is priceless. I'll be in NH next weekend. The plan was to hit Waterville but Black is looking really fun. Big difference from when I was there a few years ago.Best commercial ever. My kids and I have been singling the jingle all night
yes Id agree with that impression of black, i was there early the day i went and it was similar great team vibeOn another note, I got here early and the vibe was buzzy with a lot of employees running around and planning stuff. They seem into it. Longtime Wildcat bartender Linda is running the mid-mountain lodge today.
I got a different impression at Tenney a couple days ago. Mountain ops seemed fine but the ticketing and bar employees I dealt with seemed pretty checked out.
Is she at both or just black? Michelle was down there slinging drinks on the side last year.On another note, I got here early and the vibe was buzzy with a lot of employees running around and planning stuff. They seem into it. Yeah, everyone is working their asses off happily. To ski down the front without dodging rocks is something I've not seen here since I was a kid. The vibe is optimistic and apparently they're going to 7 days which is important imo.On another note, I got here early and the vibe was buzzy with a lot of employees running around and planning stuff. When we look at those same departments before my purchase of Black Mountain compared to the current season to date, Season Passes are up 487%, Day tickets are up 1,252%, Snowsports School is up 561%, Rentals are up 562%, Retail is up 541%, F&B is up 524%, and Indy Pass visits are up 341%.
Back to our milestone. Starting Tuesday, January 20th, Black Mountain will finally return to a 7-day-a-week operating schedule, marking a major victory in the hard-fought comeback story of this historic ski area.

He hates everything not just BlackWhere’s our resident Black hater to tell us that what Erik’s doing isn’t working??
Hey screw you guys too.
I never said that throwing money wouldn't drive sales, it most certainly will (notably when you start from basically zero in the case of Black), just that it is unsustainable for a coop model to maintain. That shouldn't be that hard to understand but you guys never seem to think things through or from the perspective of running a business.
