Any AZers love their Teva sandals..I've been wearing Tevas as much as ski boots since Nineteen naughty seven. They might not be as fashionable as flip flops or plastic sandals but you can walk/hike a dozen miles in them..and extra steeze if you hike in them with kne high ski socks underneath..I hiked up Mount Umchampadre(sp?) in the San Juans in Tevas because my hiking boots were giving me blisters..

Long live Tevas...JEA!!!

Keenes and Birks for this boy. I also have 2 pairs of Reef Fannings, with the church key on the bottom, for when I'm drinking beer in the summer too.

I love wearing my Keens in the summer.

Not just the summer my friend. I have 2 pairs of Keens (clogs and some other style) that I wear to the office everyday. Love 'em.

Naw, mine would be too cold in the winter and I'm not too big on the socks and sandals look. Not to mention they wouldn't go all that well with what I normally wear to work.

Teva's defined my childhood summers, and were just another thing that left my closets with the end of the 90's. (I didn't even realize that until now, it's funny how decades slip by...and soon the 00's will be gone too...) Aynways, I've moved on to Reef's now. Comfortable, cheap, and long-lasting. I especially like how they mold to the shape of my feet.

I hated Teva's. My mom bought me a pair for the lake. They were great for climbing over rocks, and you could run in them, and they didnt afect you swimming. But they just hurt my feet!

I haven't worn my Tevas in quite some time. Used to live in them all summer. Now, there are just too many other shoes that I enjoy wearing to limit myself to one pair. :D

I did briefly dabble in Crocs. But it's likely the Crocs Mary Janes that I was wearing contributed in some way to my fall last June that resulted in a broken 5th metatarsal (i.e. lack of support allowed for the ankle to give out, which in turn assisted in my fall down the stairs). So I don't wear them anymore either.

I think mine are from 98... But I still wear them...

Mine are the guide tevas with snap buckles and a vibram sole, so they are pretty rugged. I don't wear them anymore much unless I'm doing something water related, cause they get pretty funky otherwise.

Rainbow brand leather flip-flops have been my standard summer wear for years. I think I've had but two pairs in the last 20 years. Especially at/on the beach in Hatteras. Pumas go on when I need support.

....good quality...

..but the models I've tried, more times than not, had the outer plastic buckles that seemed to zero in against the underside of my protruding ankle bone....think my feet just aren't made for Tevas. Chacos are much more comfy...and Keens are ok(after creating a few holes in their rubber toeboxes for breatheability) for summer watersports. Teva does make a harder-core? water shoe ("Sunkosi")...which I just haven't tried...I just don't need them, as my NRS paddleshoes are nice 3mm neoprene shoes that are an excellent fit over any Hydroskin socks for springtime whitewater temps.

i had so much more respect for you untill this.:spin: but once you get the funk on them there done your feet just slide around. if your boots are killing you get a pair of trail runners.
