I fell asleep halfway through. Does anything happen?

At the mighty Blue Mountain? Unlikely. You get video of a snowboarder skidding down the flats. The few skiers you see are all doing the Texas Tuck. I guess it's more 'cool' than a video of GSS devouring a Bloomin' Onion and a half-dozen beers at the Outback Steak House.

Geoff if you have followed my TRs...you would know that I don't get the Bloomin Onion from Outback..I usually go for the stripsteak and sometimes seared Ahi Tuna as an aussietizer....and always takeout..I'm not paying $4 a beer at Outback..and preferably more than a half dozen beers to rehydrate myself after attacking some of the most intense ski terrain within 75 miles of illadelphia..

Here is another video for stoke!!!

Here is one the Knuckledraggers will love!!!

why is parking at the top for gapers?

because at the end of the day you have to ride a slow lift and take a flat trail back to your car..while people who park at the bottom can end their day with any run and avoid the slow lift-ride..lower lot is also more convenient to switch skeeze or tailgait..

First, it's just veryyyyyyyy crowded at the top because that's where the main lodge is. That's where the main ski lessons and rentals take place also. You also have to come down beginner terrain to get to a lift that takes you back up to more advanced terrain which sucks especially if it's a weekend. Takes forever to get your lift ticket and dodge the newbs. From the bottom you can access 2 high speed lifts that take you to all the advanced terrain immediately and you can avoid all the beginner areas near the main lodge. It's also a lot less crowded at the bottom. Most of the people at the bottom are more Intermediates/advanced so everything seems to move a lot faster...

That's right, forgot about ending the day there. That sucks! You can end the day ripping razor's edge if you park at the bottom...

k, all makes sense.

Just started skiing there this past March so still learning the ropes. My two boys, 12 and 14 yo, and I just started sking this year. We sampled all the local hills (vernon, camelback, shawnee) and really thought blue was the best locally. I know it has worts, but the place is fun.

We got season passes for 09/10. The top lodge has season pass locker room and obviously we don't have to worry about getting lift tickets/rentals.

lovin summer but still wishin for snow......

Well you can ski right from the upper lodge to the 6-pack..when I was in owner Barb Greens office for our sitdown with management and the head of ski patrol..there was a cool artist rendering of the proposed new main lodge at Blue..it looks a little like the lodge at Ski Windham..

Cool I'll have to introduce you to the Blue crue next year..I didn't know they had a season pass locker room..I thought it was just the club room with a few tables..Blue is definitely the best south of Elk..alot of former Camelback seasonpassholders have switched over..they have seen the light and the light is Blue..
