It is almost like the powers that be heard I had purchased a season pass and decided to set-up the mountain just for me!

Here is the list of bump runs I know of/skied this weekend...please add, as I likely missed some:

Fallen Timbers (natural, black diamond)
Roller Coaster (seeded, blue square)
Overbrook (seeded, top half, blue square)
Coopers Junction (seeded, green circle)
Ridge (natural? lower portion, under Tumbleweed lift, blue square)
Exhibition (seeded, blue square)
Ripcord (natural, double black diamond)
Bear Trap (natural, black diamond - please verify)
Yard Sale (natural, black diamond)
Nitro (natural, 1 line on skier's left last 1/3 of trail, black diamond)
Jaws (natural, black diamond - please verify)
Olympic (natural, black diamond - please verify)

LOVE IT!

Here's my 6 year old daughter taking on the top 1/2 of the last section of bumps on Rollercoaster this past Saturday AM.

They were even nicer 1st thing Sunday AM with close to 3" of fluff on them!

Don't mind my labeling of the vid - saved it to the wrong folder

Ledge was bumped too, and Beartrap was seeded in the course on the left as you went down.

IMHO, my run bump run of the weekend was the course on Beartrap with Queensryche's "Empire" blasting out of the speakers on the lift towers! :) ;)

What do you think Mt Snow's Closing date will be? Would love to get some mid April spring bumps. Do you think they make it to late April?

Alex,
They've got a good amount of snow on the trails where they make snow. If mother nature cooperates, I think mid April is easily doable. I think last year they made it to the last weekend of April? Or maybe it was second to last.

Jeff,
I gotta view that one at home! But based on how she looked on the camera when you should us...SHE RIPS!

Jay,
I hear ya. They've done an awesome job with the bumps this year. I hit Roller Coaster weekly and it just beats the you know what out of my quads. HA!

Oh, random note.. Ripcord skied great this weekend! No ice at all and the bumps were nice and big. I can't zipper line them just yet though.

Oh, and I'll say it again...it's all this forum's fault for getting me to venture into the bumps. I've really been enjoying them a lot this season. So I guess I can partially blame this on Sundown..... :-D

Alex, like Glenn said in his reply ^^^^^^^^^^. They're set up to go deep into April (mother nature permitting) - Last year they closed the 2nd to last weekend on April - and that was basically with no natural snow falling all March  If we start playing snow storm catch up the next few weeks, things should be good to go for spring bumps

that's great!!!

Thanks! I'm a proud Dad (almost a bit scared and wondering how much longer I'll be able to out ski her ;) - I was hoping tto have her be at least 10 before that was going to happen  )

I had my 4 year old son with us too, except the troughs were deep enough (and he's not that quick (yet) ) that all you saw a good chunk of the time was the top of his helmet cover!

Yea I give a lot of credit to the Sundown crew and what they do there. They seem to have woken up a lot of areas. Even here in the Pocono's the bump skiing has been better then ever before. I know management at Camelback knows because I've told them.

Sunday morning, the fresh coating of snow combined with the cloud cover made bumps hard to see on the upper section of Exhibition. From the lift I saw a skier catch a few totally off guard. He wiped out and his friend came along right behind and wiped out right along side him. Figured they were both okay when I heard the uproar of laughter from them both.

And here we thought it was because they heard US complaining about the lack of bumps the past few years. Hmmm. Guess WE aren't so special after all.

Whatever the reason, its all good.

My family's loving the bumps as well. While I like them all (Pats Pitch was a hoot on Sunday) what's really nice for families with differing tastes are the trails like Rollercoaster and Overbrook that allow us to ski bumps and cruisers while staying in close touch with one another. Good job with bump management this year Mt. Snow!

Nothing to do with Mt. Snow but at my home mountain - Hidden Valley it seems that they are letting a trail bump up. In my 3 years as a pass holder the mountain has always been completely groomed but the last few times I was at HV they've had one trail bumped up.

The last couple of times it was Helenbeck and tonight it was Kurly Kue, these are the two steepest trails at the mountain. I'm not a bump skier so when I went to Kurly Kue tonight I had no choice but to make my way down it. I'd imagine though they'd have to groom it if it becomes Jersey ice. I think it's good though that they are allowing bumps to form now.

Congrats to E on the bump run. Jeff, I still can't believe you let her wear your helmet cover ;)
