    Jay Peak bombshell

I've heard very good reviews for Omakase on the Montgomery side as well, but haven't been able to make it there yet.

EVs - New Hampshire gets it right

Most offroaders use automatics. Again, manuals are fun and people do prefer them, but not for any objective performance reason. Signed - offroad Jeep owner with 10 Moab Jeep Safaris under his belt. Since anecdotal info seems to be more important to you. Also, 2019 Alltrack has a torque curve...

EVs - New Hampshire gets it right

Color me shocked you think you are the world’s greatest driver. 154k on brakes or saying a clutch is no longer a wear item is not realistic. No manufacturer is going to make those claims and they have a whole lot more data to back it up than your anecdotal internet claim. Meanwhile in the...

EVs - New Hampshire gets it right

I mean, objectively you can't do anything better than the computers and modern automatics. Subjectively however they are much more enjoyable to use for sure. The wear and tear argument is somewhat misplaced, that force is being transmitted elsewhere, like your clutch / transmission. Bringing a...

    VAIL SUCKS

It is definitely an outlier amongst ski areas to do this on a weekend, but my impression of Waterville staffing is that outside of J1 visas, they have a distinctly older employee base. Perhaps a bunch of 2nd job holders on weekends? If so, I think its pretty cool they would make it so they can...

    VAIL SUCKS

Do the forests not benefit as well, asking for a friend? Complaining about a 1 dollar donation on a pass that costs anywhere from $400 to $1000 really seems like grasping at straws, notably given your environmental impact as a skier probably warrants it anyways. As for the tax break, something...

EVs - New Hampshire gets it right

Fourth power law: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_power_law It is actually quite significant, notably at scale. If in 2030 we go from 8 percent EV adoption to 70 percent those effects are tangible and real. Here is another link to a more simple chart. I think the comparison between a...

    The ALTERRA SUCKS Thread

I don't know, some blowhard from kzone starts blowing up my personal email and I probably wouldn't even respond. He most definitely didn't say "go fuck yourself" either, so you can put words in his mouth and pass judgement on your perceived slight, but it isn't reality. He said he understood...

    Eclipse PSA

I think the real clusterfuck is going to be getting from Jay to the highway. Once on 91 I'm thinking that, other than the 93s and 89s exits, it should be relatively smooth.

You can already get to the Jet from the current Bonnie configuration? Whatever they do, I hope they take into account wind. The flyer is a constant wind hold nightmare (tram as well but I suspect there is more to it than that) and to have the same problems with the Bonnie would be a bummer.

    The ALTERRA SUCKS Thread

Is there a ski corp you actually like at this point? Honestly, when someone starts telling you you are disgusting and shame on you, because they aren't happy with a leisure product, you are probably right to cut your losses. They aren't going to be swayed by anything you say.
