    A little trivia time: What are some lifts where you get off and there are only diamond/double diamond trails to choose from? No greens or blues at least to start with. Ones that come to mind: -Castlerock at Sugarbush -Grouse Mountain at Beaver Creek -Edelweiss at Alpental -Jupiter, 9900...

    I blame it on the Epic pass. My rule is if we go up for the weekend, it's only one day at Okemo and the other at Mt. Snow. I've taken the family all over the west, NY & VT to ski and yet Okemo is their favorite.... They love the boring groomers and also it's where many of their friends...

    Yes, but you have to factor-in Warrensburg (30MPH), so much faster than 90 on Thruway and Northway. Like you would probably go to jail fast if caught.

    Like we've been saying about Gore....

    Yea, no way Gore is profitable. (and I do resort profitability analysis for a living). Tax payers subsidize those relatively cheap walk-up lift ticket prices. But then again I think price accessibility for all (most) is part of the reason why NYS owns the resort; for the benefit of its citizens.

    Thunder Ridge was open Saturday but closed on Sunday due to the rain.

    Oldest and youngest ages for pass pulled by ski patrol?

    Pass pulled at Okemo when I was 15. Jumping in no jumping zone. Pass pulled at Gore when I was 35 (34?). First person to ever ski High Pines Glade before it became an official trail. Patrol was waiting for me at the bottom.
