Pass math how did everyone do?

I did not pass pass math this season. I would have been significantly better off paying walk-up window rates.

    Any insider tips?

What's really fascinating is that it joined on February 20 but didn't post anything until yesterday. I guess it needed to review the archives first.

Should Radar Guns Be Used At Ski Resorts To Slow Down Skiers & Boarders?

Literally the first line of the article (and Jester's original post): "Interesting news item out of Switzerland where the accident insurer SUVA has deployed radar gun toting employees on the slopes of ski resort to raise awareness about speed related dangers"

    Sub-$50 lift ticket possible?

Yeah, it seems like most places do that these days. If abc is planning on getting a pass somewhere next year, that's something else to look into (not sure if EPIC/IKON provide that benefit or when it would start, though).

    Sub-$50 lift ticket possible?

If you think you might want to do more than just a couple days over spring break, it could be worth looking at the Killington Spring Pass. It's good from 3/15 and @ $359 you would only need to use it seven days to get near your target rate. Weekends in late March and April aren't too bad at K...

Once at Xanadu I heard them plan Atlantic City in the food court. It was the original. Not the far superior The Band cover.

    Big Snow Summer Mogul Series

Yep, they had an officially scheduled event over memorial day weekend and another at the end of July. Occasionally, groups of bumpers will meet there and ski in their own line. A big group from Blue Mountain was there a couple weekends ago. They have a Facebook group called "Bumping Big Snow"...

For those of you who don't follow Big Snow on social media, this weekend is the second-to-last installment of their summer mogul series. Enjoy some turns on their machine-made bump run this Friday through Sunday. The last scheduled weekend in the series is Sept. 22-24. Speaking from...

EVs - New Hampshire gets it right

It's probably more of a handout to the manufacturers who are almost certainly baking the credits into their EV pricing structures.

Ideal ski towns for the future factoring in all issues?

For what it's worth, the median sale price in NYC for July was $770k, while the median rent was $4,400. Someone buying the median home in NYC with 20% down at current mortgage rates would pay significantly more than $4,400 per month for it. I guess my assumption that the rent for the median...

Yeah, I'd rather be a homeowner than a renter with an index fund, too.

Ideal ski towns for the future factoring in all issues?

The primary benefit of renting is you don't need a down payment. So even if the monthly rental payments are greater than the monthly costs of home ownership, renting is still likely to be cheaper than buying in terms of total cost (especially with today's inflated housing prices). If you think...
