after moving back to the east coast in 07, i took up telemarking to stave off groomer boredom.

terrain parks should shoulder some of the blame too IMO. back in the day when jumps were outlawed, moguls were one of the only parts of the mountain where you could catch air or challenge yourself beyond groomers. i still love to ski bumps when the mountain seeds them, but the naturally formed...

hoping to get up on saturday or sunday, i'll PM you when plans get solidified. it's a fun skin with a great view on clear days. probably going to be a zoo since conditions have been lousy for most of the season...until now!

magic's ticket prices and acreage of tree runs are the best value in VT IMO

sundown doesn't have any "approved" tree skiing, but rumor has it that such a thing exists there. unfortunately, i will be there early and tracking out as much pow as i can. night skiing goes until 10, but if the storm keeps cranking after that, friday morning could be great too.

if i lived in JH and skied 125+ days a year, i'd definitely take the day off from skiing at jackson hole to troll a northeastern skiing forum.

when i worked in a ski shop, i'd write my last name on the topsheet where the bindings would be mounted. if they were ever stolen or ownership was disputed you just tell the person to pop the binding off and see whose last name is written underneath it.

$27 is low for that type of repair, and the issue is that there is no way to guarantee that it will hold. It's not worth the time and effort for a tech to perform that repair, and then have the customer come back, piss and moan that the repair didn't hold, and demand that they get a refund or...
