    New to You in 2018-2019

Serre Chevalier, France was new to me this season. I would definitely go back. The terrain, snow, food, hotel, location, people - all awesome! https://gopro.com/v/96r19D8XomMoz

    Camelback 4/1/15

Oh yeah, blue jacket - that's too cool that you were in the shot! I knew that trail would be perfect for her. As 4aprice mentioned, its a nice trail to introduce someone to the fun of skiing bumps.

    Seeded Moguls vs. Natural Moguls

There's also another, longer pitch of bumps that continues down the trail that's not visible in that photo. It will be big fun tomorrow!

    Blue Mt - Feb 3,4 and 5th

They did on Monday, Feb 13. They had them on Main Street (Barney's Bumps - on skier's right again this year) and also a short section on Nightmare. Unfortunately, no bumps on Challenge so far this year. For some reason, their website has yet to reflect the bump status. The lines were fun and...

Another bad move: Drinking and skiing?

Quote from the article: "Mason said he witnessed the emergency room staff attempt to warm Eichorst’s body with blankets and warm saline infusions and finally they cut his chest open and poured warm saline into the cavity. “I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes,” he...

No Blue or Camelback TR's since 1/27? How are things in the Poconos?

I was at Blue on Monday from about 11am to 4:30pm and it was great. There was a very small crowd and spring-like conditions. The bumps on Main Street were in excellent shape with multiple lines to choose from. There was a good group of people enjoying them. The bump skiers seem to gravitate...

    Skiing "the slides" at Whiteface

I skied Whiteface for the first time on Feb 27 & 28. They had just received a ton of snow from the multi-day storm. The slides were open on the Saturday but the top of the mountain was in the clouds so I didn't try them. The next day was clear in the morning and I spent a few lift rides...
