I miss eating stuffed baked potatoes on the deck in the sun. Skied Hunter since 1975. Got engaged on the mountain. Orville and his wife tooks us out to dinner after getting engaged. Haven't been back in the past two years due to Epic. Hope they sell it off at some point so I can return.

I wish park skiing existed back in the 70's when I was a teen. We just skied the mountain looking for little jumps to try and do a Daffy, Backscratcher or the occasional failed Helicopter. Eventually we'd get yelled at by ski patrol to stop before someone got hurt.

Coming from the South Google says Hunter is 3 minutes faster. Seems about right when I drive. Leaving central NJ at 6:30 am gets me to either at 9 if I don't stop. And if there's powder, the extra 20 to continue to Platty blows everything away.

I just clicked on both Hunter's and Windham's webcams. I don't understand how Windham has no lines.

The crowds were heading north last night. I was heading back to NJ after skiing Gore. Amazing day. I couldn't believe how much traffic was heading up on NYS Thruway.

Room booked and tickets loaded for the next two days. Let's hope this storm delivers.

This pretty much sums up how much Vail cares about Hunter. No care for the skiers. I guess a powder day has no effect on share price, so it's not on their radar.

And Hunter reports nothing since Vail can't be bothered to update their Snow Report.

FIFY. That bathroom has been the same for as long as I've skied there.

Well they didn't get my Fox Remote radar detector since that was well hidden.

I used to skate there and at Laces in Herricks. My most memorable night at Hotskates was when someone broke into my Datsun B210 and stole my Audiovox equalizer after I had carefully installed it where the ashtray used to be.

How do they not offer refunds to local Epic pass holders of this place?
