I became Executive Chairperson of the Board for Vail Resorts in November 2021 after stepping down as Chief Executive Officer. I served as Chairperson since March 2009 and previously I served as Lead Director from June 2003 until my appointment as Chief Executive Officer in February 2006. I have served on the Board of Directors of Vail Resorts since 1996 and have been involved with the Company since 1991. Prior to becoming the Chief Executive Officer, I was associated with Apollo Management L.P., a private equity investment firm, since its founding in 1990. my wife and I have been the founders and board members of the Katz Amsterdam Foundation, which seeks to help address behavioral health challenges in mountain resort communities and support organizations that are working to address racial justice challenges across the United States. I currently serve on the Wharton Leadership Advisory Board and the Fast Company Impact Council, and I've previously served on numerous private, public and non-profit boards.
