Funny to see SJ forum try to defend Vail in this case. The guy that fell is lucky to be ALIVE!
Oh I need to see that.....

And I see one familiar face trying to spin this (while also taking a swipe at AZ):

If someone wants this thread to slow down Vail should suck much less. It’s like they’re hitting the gas at sucking instead of slowing down.

I was at Mt Snow today and while riding the Canyon Quad (a Poma that's had a myriad of mechanical issues over the years) I was a bit worried. Every tower my chair passed over it felt like the sheaves were dragging the grip. Luckily I made it to the top and decided not to tempt fate.

Anybody felt that before and what was it? Did not feel it on Bluebird, Sundance, or Sunbrook.

I dont get how anyone can "defend" Vail in this specific instance. And I've never heard of SJ before, but I did recognize that rivercoil name. Used to be one of the most frequent posters here, then ghosted the place. I think because he was starting his own skiing social media or something?

It's really getting nuts; like every week or two it's something else. Vail seems to be approaching their zenith at sucking.

"In early December, Vail announced Attitash would share one general manager and an operations manager with Wildcat". This will not help with the Tramway Safety Board or any litigation that develops.

Two Vail employees were getting upset about the constant criticism. One being Mr. Segal.

I wonder if said statement has mysteriously disappeared after yesterday......

You can’t “ghost” a web site that’s pretty much a ghost! How many people read AZ?

If it weren’t for the half dozen “frequent poster”, half of them not even living in the northeast, arguing amongst themselves, this site is as dead as a door knob. Is it any surprise one of the former “frequent poster” smart up and puts his own posts on a site of his own? He probably gets just as much traffic than this one, single handedly. He’d be pocketing a small portion of pocket change that Nick would have pocketed.
