Surprisingly good day at Attitash. Have a few Epic day passes to use. coming from Portland with my 7 year old was hoping the morning report would show Wildcat miraculously stayed snow, that didn't happen, saw Attitash had the progression quad and bear peak planned. Ended up being kachina, abenaki and progression for the lifts. Parked front row at bear peak. First couple runs over there in heavy rain, but then rest of the day was sleeting, snow or no precip. Snow was highly variable, between ice, frozen crud, spring snow and everything else! Nice and fast all day. Enjoyed most skiers right from the progression quad and the fun bump line under the lift skied in enough to make turns. Ended the day with 6 or so runs lapping kachina to the race trail until the lift shut down. Was soft but fast feeling. Glad my son got to experience a true new england day and seems to find the fun in at times challenging conditions Pushed me to last chair.
