Maybe you're right about the length of season being unsustainable but whatever the fuck they're doing now certainly isn't either.Great marketing but completely unsustainable.
Its basically guaranteeing the eventual coop's failure, as the customer base is going to expect a product the Coop stands no chance in being able to provide.
Frankly, that is what Wildcat is dealing with now and is Black's ghost of christmas future. They pushed a ski season length they couldn't afford for a long time, to the detriment of the facilities, and now face a 1 2 punch of failing infrastructure and pissed off customers expecting a six month ski season. On top of that, Wildcat couldn't make it work and Black has worse sun exposure and elevation challenges.
Rough number on the cost of this please. Will be making snow Tuesday through Thursday this week coming up.

That has already been done. Several times...Does Wildcats NFS permit last forever or will it be coming up for renewal? If it is people in the valley and beyond should voice their concerns over Vail's poor management.
Ahhhh. The good ole days. Those things crank. The only real downside is you're stuck with the nozzles that are installed.
That was the last big push in January I think it was like a 60 hour run in good conditions.
