What's the play for this weekend? Looks like a rainy day Friday especially southern half of VT. Northern VT high peaks may escape most of the liquid.

I can only get out Sunday, and looking at it from an Epic/Indy point of view I feel like my options are: Stowe, Okemo, Mt Snow, and Jay.

Obviously Okemo and Mt Snow will just be 2 or 3 snowmaking routes down from the top and not much else. Which would be more than good enough, but...

...there's no ignoring how much natural has fallen up north. I feel like Stowe might be kind of underwhelming because they almost definitely won't open anything skiers left of the Sunrise chair other than maybe Hayride, so the good stuff probably won't really be in play without hiking.

Jay on the other hand...not sure if they're just running the Jet, or if we'll see Bonnie open. But 92 fucking inches in 2 weeks. Is it worth burning one of my two Indy days this early? Even if it's just Jet running, that pod is full of good woods and trails that should hold the natural pretty well.

Also not sure if my legs would be able to handle getting right after it 😂

I think jay need to buy a new ruler
Even if they are a little overly excited:
( so a $199 lodging package includes for lift tickets this weekend???)
$50 each means potentially lots of people . .

Snow Report

Tuesday November 18 at 8:17 AM
Racing towards 100 inches

Ullr hasn’t let up on the gas pedal, Jay was pelted with another 16-24 inches in that last 24 hours, bringing the 48 hour total to 40 inches and growing. Today looks good for another few inches before this whole storm cycle finally bows out. We’re on pace to hit 100 inches before December. This has been one of the biggest early season stretches we have ever seen, and the mountain is wearing it proudly.

The skies are clearing, the sun is warming up its entrance song, and the temps are staying low enough to keep everything light, chalky, and ready to carve. Translation: excellent conditions are lining up for what is shaping up to be the best opening day coverage in serviceable memory. The best way to enjoy it is with our $199 Opening Day lodging package that includes lift tickets for a family of four.

Our snowmaking teams are still hard at work blasting 2,200 gpm over the Stateside base area to prep it for Opening Day. Our groomers are working the Jet through Wednesday. Uphill travel is permitted ONLY on Tramside. Ullr’s Dream is your uphill route, please make sure your downhill route keeps you in bounds and brings you back to where you started.
