Friday was Ok, lot of ice from the previous rain but in the morning it was groomed up nice. Saturday more of the same..then the snow came. So thats worth talking about. Pounded all day, 35 MPH winds, a real snow storm. Everything got covered up nicely throughout the day. Finally able to really hit the good stuff. But yes, the steep stuff and moguls were still iced up but the snow made it worth it. Got beat up on Chin Clip and Goat..but a good beating.
Spent 6 hours out in it and had to go, it was still pounding. Only regret was not bringing my fat skis. My Sultans did a good job on the shiny stuff though.
