Holy OLD thread!
It has to snow to go skiing.
I don't follow. Flat light or flat terrain? If you are on small mobile screen you prob can't see all the powder tracks which is why I posted.
Pics never do it justice.
Keystone on Saturday. Skied untracked in the trees and hike-to terrain all morning.
Lots more snow coming! yay!

Bottom of River run looks bare but it did last year at opening as well. Assuming they open I'm going Sat regardless of rocks and WROD.
Nice. hitting Keystone opening this week?
Just a thought if you have an old board laying around. DIY...

Denver weather isn't the same as West of the divid. Early season was great but it did feel like a good chunk of the season was more spring-like than winter. I still made lots of powder turns though...
Yeah you should have! I was bummin' in Vail all Winter. Let me know if you make it out this season!
Thanks! =)
Haven't been the forums in a while but I'm bored and really want to go skiing AND it snowed here in Colorado last night so I'm pumped.
My last turns for the season were in June on Buffalo mountain...
No need to leave the East right now but I wouldn't give up on your trip yet. It's been good out here until recently!
Way to get it guys! Jelly. Skiing spring mash potatoes out here.
Missing VT right now!
This bothers me too but a ski forum is hardly the place to worry about such things.
UNLESS I meant that I could actually care less than I do now =)
Haha! Are you getting offended? You must be if you are bothering to point out an irrelevant grammar typo I made.
You need to unwind. Go make some turns!
The last 2 years I lived in VT I skied Stowe often using the VT club card. It came to $64-67...somewhere around there. Really not that bad considering.
Sugarbush is $84-91 depending on...
Yes. A hostel brings the overall cost of a ski weekend or trip down and helps offset the cost of tickets. It's not hard to ski Stowe on the cheap if you try( VT club card, ski Vermont 3-5 pack, ect)....
This is awesome! Exactly what Stowe needs!
Never been but I think they just got smacked with a decent storm. Early season has been good out here!
Nice Corny!
Missing East Coast believe it or not. SnowRidge is a special place!
Whoo hoo!!
Yep I'm on the Epic pass. I'll bounce around during the season I'm sure. If it's stormy I'll stick to Vail/Beaver to avoid driving otherwise I'll head out to skin or day trip to a different mountain....
Good points!
Do you guys ski/ride Vail/Beaver much?
Thanks! Avon isn't too bad. I kinda wish I was more near Breck/Silverthorne/Frisco but I'm not complaining!
