Uh, yeah, that is. I personally prefer CO, Tahoe, and BC to UT for a variety of reasons that are a matter of opinion. Expensive flights would keep me away from there for good.

No reason I can think of but maybe I’m remembering it wrong. I thought I’d read here last season that the Ikon was good at K but not Pico.

The odds of me going to that area 5 times all season is low. I’m not crazy about Killington and prefer Pico’s low key vibe. I’d been under the assumption that Pico wasn’t an option on the Ikon so...

I somehow missed this thread last year. This is probably my only year with the Ikon so I’m psyched to hit Pico this season. Haven’t been in years.

Agreed. I’d be shocked if they’d locked the scanning thing down this quickly. It’s a transitional season.

I skied the lower 2/3 of Polecat also, on Nov 26th. It was ungroomed and powder loaded, also the snow had set up a bit. I don’t know what’s up with snowmaking on Upper Polecat but this is reminding...

Stratton being crowded on a Saturday is one of the least shocking things I’ve ever heard.

Technically, I hate the Jay Peak tram more than Loon’s gondola. But it’s close. Someone at work told me that Loon replaced all the cabins last year. Haven’t confirmed that. I wonder what’s improved...

I used one for a few years. An issue with them is when you take off your coat for breaks, the tension is lost on the band. If you’re not lying attention, it can slide off your jacket easily.
