Wildcat went from 42 trails to 23 trails today. Black Mountain went from open to closed.
Have a family member that bought new ski boots last season and is having a lot of problems with pressure points etc. I know some boot fitters can work magic, reheat boots to moguls the liners etc....
Jay Peak also in the middle of nowhere.
I would prefer they just place a trash can at the top of the lift next to the trail maps. Keeps the mountain cleaner than people attempting to drop their beer can from the chair into a trash barrel...
Winter doesn’t end, it just shifts location.
Weekends only
Wildcat. I wonder if the north side woods (like Shanka) filled in well this year?? Hoping there is still some snow... probably wishful thinking though! Oh well! Still excited!
June 4th last year. Maybe try for June 5th this year... or July...

Plenty at Jackson Hole. A few times on the tele skis too. If you never fall you aren’t pushing yourself.
Pats Peak is $222 for 19-29 year olds... all season, no blackout dates, and includes the rest of this season... so use it 4 times and it has paid for itself. Not bad for a ski area so close to Boston.
Big crowds this weekend... probably because not many skied last weekend?
Rest In Peace. The amount of speed you can pickup on an inflatable tube is very high. They can get going scary fast real quick too. Used to sled a lot at Black Mountain on Whitney Hill; it's a green...

I decided to go with the Dynastar Twister at 168.
Thanks for all all the help guys!
now, where can I find some good seeded bump lines? I know Whaleback in the past used to have some with jumps...
I'll be there tomorrow!
Yep Wildcat was reporting -50° with the windchill. Too dangerous to open.
On another note, any idea why the K2 244's aren't on their website?
Great video, that is how I would like to ski bumps. Referring to Mister Mooses post, I would like to be a Cat1, but I would say I fall somewhere between, more like a Cat3 or Cat4. I can ski bumps...
Always enjoyed skiing bumps. Getting more "into it" recently. Started thinking of picking up a dedicated bump ski.
I'm 5'-8" and about 165-175lbs, I consider myself a pretty aggressive skier. I...
that lift is a savior on a busy day. Best kept secret.

Pics to come... someday lol I get lazy when it comes to editing photos...
Quick edit I put together from a couple of weeks ago at the Superstar Glacier!

In addition to what everyone else said, Killington has a great trail for it. Superstar is awesome, perfect pitch for spring bumps. The steep head wall, then nice relaxing mid section, then steep...
