Well was going to reply based on the OP but this thread has morphed into something else

Still stairway skiing. We used to do the opening weekend at K town. The stairs were cool but then it got old day after day. We generally skied one day then waited for more terrain to open. Someone...
Funny out here Vail is going after the early and late season by opening Keystone early and closing Break later. My guess, they will never compete with Killington but I bet they will find the right...
We got the Epic Veteran and the Epic Veteran Dependents - sons season pass was $309 as a 17 year old. It is limited toVail owned resorts which is fine by us.

Agree! Longer skis provide more edge and control! Once someone is used to the length then the trees are easy! I find trees to be like skiing moguls.
My wife used to ski skis that were 158 and...
We dropped our skis at Epic Mountain Gear to get tuned and while at the shop we heard they opened for two hours beating out Keystone. Soooo, out came the old spare skis, hand tuned them and loaded...

A bit about cloud seeding mostly driven by California, Arizona, and Nevada states that are concerned about a lack to snow melt in...

As far as Breckenridge if you can not entertain yourself there then you are not trying hard enough! The Dunes of the back side of Peak Seven Bowl is pretty steep not to mention cornices off the top...
Who cares whether someone is right for a mountain - if they want to say they have been there that is cool. Most skiers and snowboarders only ski two thirds of most resorts. A place like Jackson...
IMO the five days will not be a huge issue. A Basin opens up early and stays open late so using five days will go quickly. We are getting the Military Pass at A Basin which includes dependents. It...
It gets good reviews and seems to hold up in different temps!

I like that new pod! We are looking forward to that experience! We like Cooper because it does not get crowded. Also there is terrain for every feast!

Agree! Like no one saw that coming. At least on skis you have an edge.

We ski Ski Cooper every year off the Gems Card as a two for one. It is cheap. The lifts are slow especially the frontside. The back side is a lot of fun with a mixed bag of stuff. Some open runs...
Last time we were there he no longer worked there - a little over a year ago.

Skied A Basin today with nearly white out conditions - a dozen trails open with good conditions.

A Basin on Sunday. Firm start and bumps were not good but by 10 it was really good everywhere. Pali, Beavers and Zuma are all closed now.

Got a new phone and the app on the old phone would not allow me to change my password so .... create a new account!
BTW when we rented and SUV we rented from Fox which a creep rental but it...
I think you meant Copper in that article. Great write up!

I am surprised at some of the rant by Teleskier! In Colorado you are not required to have an SUV anything AWD is fine and do not require chains. In most cases, chains are need for mountain passes...
