I dosed one day at Stratton last month :love: On a beautiful sunny day :love:

Next season I plan to upgrade from the Stratton only pass to the ikon pass. I read here, or maybe ski talk, Costco sold ikon passes and gave a $200 gift card for 2022/23, so I’m keeping an eye out for that.

After that December dump, it seems like every storm in southern Vermont this season has been way below expectations, stratton expected 7-10 inches and it was maybe 4, and wet/heavy.

I’m coming back here for that Vermont Open snowboard racing, second weekend of March. They must want to make their last push for that.

Stratton usually discloses snowmaking on trails, looks like they’re banking on new snow, even though it’ll be plenty cold. “eyes and minds” :ROFLMAO:

I’ve mentioned I got back on my boards a few years ago after a several year break. Back then, in the lodges, it seemed only kids had helmets and put them on the tables and chairs while the adults were mostly in hats. Now everyone wears helmets and the lodges look like bowling ball swap meets.

A third of of the time I ski drunk, a third a time of the time I ski drunk and stoned, and a third of the time I ski drunk, stoned and hung over. So you bet I wear a helmet :)

Do those lots fill up first? Funny thing about the sunbowl, lot 1 can be full and cars pile into lot 2, but the sunbowl lot stays pretty empty. Happened last Saturday, drove by lot 2 and it was pretty full, we still parked in the area by the solstice lift.
