Is anyone skiing Saddleback on Friday before the Alpinezone Summit?

I'm looking forward to finally making it to the summit. We just completed our move to Maine this week, so my travel time to Sugarloaf went from 11.5 hrs to 2.5 hrs. I'm hoping to get ski buddies from the mid atlantic region to join Alpinezone, so they can attend this years summit with me.

Closer I was hoping to find a place closer to where we are going to live. I'll have a little time between the time we move and ski season, to figure things out. I just know the lease programs sell out pretty quick where we live now.

Anyone know of any ski shops in and around (north) Portland, Me with a youth ski lease program? We'll be moving to Maine in the next month or so. I'm going need boots for my son and skis & boots for my daughter.8-)

+1 Mott's was the most intimidating I've skied to date. Rumble @ Sugarbush on the east coast, but it was a lot of fun.

May be they could buy Saddleback, if it's still for sale. That would be great for me, since we'll be moving to Maine next month.

I skied Jay Peak, Kirkwood, Squaw Valley, Heavenly and Northstar for the first time this season. I look forward to skiing them all again except Northstar. I skied Killington for the first time, since the mid 80's.

I have two voucher's left over from a Ski Lake Tahoe Six Pack. Voucher's are good until the end of the 2012/2013 season. One voucher is for Heavenly or Sierra at Tahoe and one is for Northstar or Alpine Meadows. PM me if your interested.

Great Report! Great report and love the tubing pics. I wonder if other places let you do that, Camelback? Shhh, Shawnee Peak might be our home resort next year, if everything goes as planned.

When is your visit?

Well, you got me all fired :flame:up for my trip at the end of March.

I'm just trying to figure out how I can move the family to New England . I tried back in 03' to move the family out to Colorado. I couldn't fine anything in my field, that paid well enough. Plus, my wife loves the beach.

Originally, on Saturday we were just going to do some snowshoeing and check out some of the small towns in the Catskills. Now, it might be snowshoeing in the morning at Plattekill. Then my son and I skiing the second half of the day. Sunday we will be at Hunter and Monday morning/early afternoon...

It's not in the Pocono's, but I say, Elk :daffy:. They have plenty of booze in the bar, if your wife stops early. Plus, they usually have live music in the afternoon.

I've always like Blues and Elks. Elk had nice bumps on tioga spur in early January. I'll let you how Elk is next week, if I go.
