I skied the weekend they had it, the event itself was on a friday and all traces were completely gone the next day. I believe they worked all night cleaning it up.

I won't use them trying new tricks in the park, one less thing to break/stab myself with. It makes some grabs really fun too. That being said poles are still important and I think its kind of weird to ski out of the park without them.

Helmet liners for the most part are just thin pieces of cloth or netting, and really won't do much to add to a helmets protective abilities aside from comfort. That being said, it's quite easy to not wear them correctly without the liner. As long as you make sure that the helmet fits...

I find it interesting that they banned jumping outside of the park for early season, I can see why. Has killington always done this and do they enforce it very well?

Eh, I don't think much is being lost here. The only one that concerns me is "Poppy Fields" because there are a few different locations where it could be. Super Nova and North woods are in plain view of the lift and lower Chutzpah/Hardball weren't really secret (and were already cut last season...

I don't think it's very unreasonable to ski at that speed with a very stiff pair of skis, In his recent film "Few Words" they have several other similar scenes at that same resort filmed from a helicopter, this guy really rips!

The lift has been painfully slow, and serves as a main connect between Whitecap (which is almost dead now) and the rest of the Resort. The area in General needs a revamp, and replacing tempest would be a good start.

They are cutting a new trail between 3D and Dreammaker, not that there wasn't skiing in there already...

Sunday river has/had one, I think this year they just converted it to a medium terrain park with some banked turns.

I had this happen myself a few weeks ago, definitely hurts a lot if you loosen the nail up just enough to wiggle around. I've been taping my toes up for the past 2 weeks and it has pretty much stopped all the pain, now I just need to wait for them to fall off. Best way to avoid Toe Bang aside...

Wachusett's cap is at 750 I believe, that doesn't include passholders. I was there, and can definitely say I wish that I wasn't, singles line for the summit went a little ways up the bottom of smith and I didn't even bother with Minuteman.

Definitely a favourite
