    Skiing First - I ran over...

    One squirrel at Mohawk and lots of other near misses with squirrels at various resorts . A pheasant (big dark brown bird, it was all kind of a blur) hit my helmet at Pico.

    Mt. Bachelor 4/4 - 4/6 - I'm in love!!!

    I lived in Oregon for a summer 20 years ago. I've been itching to move there ever since. Never got to ski because I was unaware of Summer skiing on Mt Hood or that Bachelor is usually open through late May. Glad you had a fun trip. The people in OR are so chill.

    Nice, I bet the snow had time to drain over night. Their base is deep on the man made trails. As long as there are no blowtorch days, they could probably go 2 more weekends. I haven't seen any announcements but I would guess that next weekend will be their last?
