Equipment setup for Beginner Question (snowboarder)

UPDATE: The bindings no longer were on the approved list so I ended up getting seasonal rentals for boots and skis. I am looking forward to the new experience. All that is left for me to do is book me some ski lessons. I figure if I can snowboard I can learn to ski, even at 67.

Equipment setup for Beginner Question (snowboarder)

I took them to the shop today so I will see what happens. I know these skis are not beginners ( I am not exactly a beginner so to speak) but I wanted to get to carving plus I already have them. They haven't been used much ( maybe one time) and were stored properly, even the grease looked fresh...

    Gunstock

I was injured at the end of January which ended my season. I dislocated my ankle which I never thought possible on a snowboard. There was a lack of snow making during this season and I was told it was due to frozen pipes during the end of December freeze.

I would have no issue with the State purchasing the property and then Leasing it back to SMF ..

    Saddleback

SMF had a couple of million to put down too .. Berry's held out for all or nothing. The Majella Group never impressed me and even less as time went by .. Maybe the Berry's will be finally willing to deal with SMF and work something out that keeps ownership in State.

That part of Maine needs a east- west 4 lane highway to open that area up and cut down travel time. The only way I see it working as a for profit situation.

Balsams Grand Resort teams up with ski industry legend Les Otten

Nuclear power plants were designed to be base load plants running at full capacity all the time. This was the way to go when the utility had to own the means of production. With all the cheap shale gas, gas plants became the WalMarts of the power industry. Little environmental regulation when...

Balsams Grand Resort teams up with ski industry legend Les Otten

I believe one day we will go full circle with nuclear power and will build thorium fueled reactors instead of uranium ones. The nuclear fuel should have always been thorium but you can't make bombs out of it.
