    ha! saw that vid on JP's FB pae... BUUUuuuuttttTTT.... snowskates are HARD to use. way harder than skis. those moves up on top of jay are pretty impressive. i rate the video as "awesome" that said, those guys used lifts to get to the snow. we didn't use no stinkin lifts! :P

    Lionel's 18" is predicated on the secondary low being more powerful than forecast, and entraining lots of Lake moisture, and even then, only in a narrow bullseye. It'd be unfair to paint his call as a flat out 18".

    I'm a pretty big fan of the Panasonic LX series. I think I have the LX3, and it's been very good for "pointing and shooting." The intelligent auto is out of this world for capturing scenes SMARTLY with zero user input. I hear the LX5 is even better. Only real con: The camera leaves a good bit...
