Gunstock NH Master Plan: 31 New Trails, 4 New Lifts

Has this and other NH ( ski area) projects been approved or completed? I'm curious to know what the comparison of expansion projects in NH to VT might be. Is it regulation that hinders or local opposition? All kinds of not comparable stats I'll assume ( National Forest/Feds/state or local regs...

EVs - New Hampshire gets it right

problem with paddle shifters are on off ramps or sharp turns they aren't ergonomic. 1st one I had was going from a '05 Acura MDX 5 or 6 speed on shifter to an '08 - paddles - cumbersome and unnatural to the human ( and old) standard(s). Most people can't read tachometers or were never taught...

EVs - New Hampshire gets it right

Just one step closer to autonomous driving. Tesla has the most advanced technology on that front- at least according to Cathie Wood. Supposedly better than Googles Waymo? Distracted driving drove me off in line skating for off-season workouts. Too many ‘car breezes’ on my arms.

EVs - New Hampshire gets it right

Most have seen the tire cover on back of Jeeps - '5 speed shift pattern and the motto ' This vehicle has anti theft device'. Best part of driving - taught all my kids - well ; almost- to drive sticks and purchased their 1st car as a standard - simple - 'males one pay attention'. Can't be on the...

Skiur correct: Chat GPT: The weight of an F150 pickup truck varies depending on the specific model and configuration, but it typically ranges from around 4,000 to 5,600 pounds (1,800 to 2,500 kilograms) for newer models. On the other hand, a Tesla Model S, for example, weighs around 4,800 to...

Even with all the hype and incentive of some of top 50% of earners tax dollars - the market is speaking - and it doesn't want electric cars. Volvo pulled out completely, Toyota smartly stuck with hybrids, GM? How many Volts/Bolts do we see? Hertz returned 200K Tesla rentals, Fiskar is near...

    VAIL SUCKS

Consider the source - interesting that top of list consists of defense contractors. . . . . maybe shareholder and customer satisfaction should be main contributors and survey 50% shareholders ( or just use metrics of their counterparts in the industry, S&P comp, or something) and 50% customer...

    The ALTERRA SUCKS Thread

Do European resorts (public/private/combo) have the same environmental roadblocks as the US? It does appear that a larger economic impact is felt thruout all those European ski resorts than the US. A larger population closer- and maybe ( I dunno larger than the 5-6% of US pop. that ski/ride) a...

EVs - New Hampshire gets it right

Are you telling me that if we were to transition to all EVs our skies would look the same as they do today with ICE traffic? Yes. That picture from Spring 2020? Or a cool, dry fall day as opposed to high humidity day? I've seen the foothills of the Himalayas to your point, when no one was...
