    Windham Mountain Going Private??

Hermitage seems to be doing fine now that Jim Barnes is out of the picture

    Mt Snow 21-22 Season

I can't see them investing the kind of money hkd kliks would cost on a trail that even when it has snow, hardly opens. If they don't have the manpower to run hkds on ripcord, vail really has done a good job of gutting that snowmaking department and hiring a bunch of people that don't know what...

    The NEW Magic Mountain

Also very limited what you can do in Vermont above certain elevations for most of the summer due to the elusive Bicknell thrush

    VAIL SUCKS

You can ski down to a lift and have an employee call patrol, I've done it on occasion. I've never been In a situation where I've needed to call patrol for myself and couldn't get down the mountain. Maybe I'm living on the wild side....

    Skiology Matt in Litigation

He had his cult following threaten and harass ski area employees and has a history of calling peoples places of empoloyment to get them in trouble/fired. So yeah, in a way he kind of is a threat. If I were the owner of the ski shop in Killington, I wouldn't want anyone thinking I was related...

    Skiology Matt in Litigation

That one could come back to bite him in the ass. Imagine him trying to argue with an IRS agent about how he's right about the tax code and how he doesn't owe taxes and refuses to pay them (until he issues a fake apology and eventually does when facing jail time) There's no way that tool is...

    Skiology Matt in Litigation

How much of the funding he receives goes towards funding an operation of social media bots to make it seem like he has more following and support than he actually does?

    Does "Park" skiing bother you?

Easy to have that opinion when you live in Montana. Grow up and learn to ski on small mole hills on the east coast and it's a totally different story. If it weren't for parks, I probably wouldn't have done much skiing at all as a kid.

    Mt Snow 21-22 Season

50/50. If the reports on the internet of all the staff cutbacks are true, i'd be more worried about lifts being able to get deiced and opened. It's not like they were ever great about that in the past. I'd go to magic if it were me or if I had an IKON pass, Stratton over Mount Snow Wednesday

They should, but many don't. There are discounts for younger people out there but they should definitely be expanded.

    VAIL SUCKS

I'm in the mount snow pass holders group on Facebook, there's been multiple posts like this from several different people. I highly doubt it's fake. Not to mention there's been links posted here about vail pulling this crap at other resorts

Will snowmaking shut down early this season?

Should just close then. All that will be there are a few pass holders anyway. If they want to run just one lift, make more snow on some main face trails and keep the bluebird open. Keeping carinthia open is pointless if it's not parks anymore. Some of the most boring terrain on a relatively...

Will snowmaking shut down early this season?

Not ideal for the bean counters in Colorado but a better skiing experience. Nitro and gulch if that's where all the snow is and will be the ones staying open, aren't exactly very interesting without features. Might as well just close and focus on keeping okemo open longer

Will snowmaking shut down early this season?

You'd think they'd want to hit carinthia hard if they're trying to stay open late. Given they're already at an advantage with the amount of snow that's there with terrain park features. Kind of boring terrain for the most part though when all the features are gone. It's too bad they don't...

    Stratton to Add New Lifts

I can't speak from recent experience because I havent been there since early 2020, however then it was never an issue getting a spot except for founders day, st patricks day, occaisonal fridays and powder days. This was midweek though, I avoided the place on weekends. Probably a little less...
