Burke Wednesday 3/26

I'll be skiing Burke on Wednesday. Haven't been there before. Anyone else going to be skiing there? I'm a reasonably good skier. Blacks etc at the River. Bumps if they are not frozen and glades not too tightly spaced. Would also like advice on the runs and glades. Thanks Aveski

    Travel question

I’ll be taking my first trip out West (Utah) to ski this season, Feb. 23 - March 6. I’m wondering how everyone takes their ski boots on the plane as carry on. I’m looking into a Transpack boot pack. I figure I would be able to bring my helmet and goggles with me also. I’ll be flying Delta...

    My new skis

My new skis. The graphic was a surprise. Apparently they were out of the standard graphic, but had this ski. It's the D-Sender wrapped in special trade show E-motion cloths, or at least that is what the owner of Fat-ypus told me. S/N: 004 [/IMG] [/IMG]

    Sugarloaf 4/21/07

Another great day at the Loaf. Not a bare spot on the trails. A few rocks up in the fields, but it was fun skiing them. Everyone had a good time. http://good-times.webshots.com/album/558776137wTOIWX?vhost=good-times

Sunday River 4/13/07 - POWDER DAY!!!

Marc and I headed up to Sunday River today. We were on the Jordan lift a little after 9:00. Headed down Excalibur. There was a cat track down the center, with fluffy packed powder. Other than that, it was pretty much untracked. We did a couple of runs and then took four runs or so down Rogue...

    Saddleback 4/1/07

A friend and I hammered at Saddleback yesterday. Brilliant sun all day, with no wind. The snow was hard and fast in the morning. It got softer as the day progressed. The groomers had pretty good cover and it looks like this week may have a net increase in snow. We took three runs on Golden Smelt...

    Sugarloaf 2/25/07

Great day at the Loaf today. Warm, sunny and not much wind. The snow was great in most places. We didn't ski the bump runs. Well I did a couple. The crusiers were fun. I didn't have my good camera, so I only got a few shots. You all know this one. [/IMG] The rest were on Gondi Line by...

Pre-report. I'm heading up to Saddleback from Portland on Sunday. I'll be leaving around 6:00. Anyone interested in carpooling up? Is there a carpool section this should be in? Just noticed the trips forum. You can bump this over there. (Duh)
