Anyone know if Blue Hills in Mass frowns upon skinning before they open? I don't really care if they yell at me, I just don't want my car towed while I am on the hill. Figured they don't open until 2pm tomorrow so I can skin up and be gone before they spin the lifts...

Used the RFID tickets at Steven's Pass out in Washington... They were pretty sweet. No annoying ticket or pass to get snagged on trees or lifts as you could keep them in an exterior pocket.They were rechargeable so you didn't have a stack of lift tickets on your coat.

I just don't think that is realistic... I would think it would cost way more $ to make snow than any money they would bring in through season pass sales and K50 sales from a few days. Then again they could be banking on the people who purchased those items to buy alot of over priced food and...

Anyone ever use Wilderness House on Comm Ave in Allston? I got my boots blown out there last year and it worked pretty well. They use that A Line footbed (which I was already using) and it worked out well. I am going back there soon most likely to get some intuition liners to replace my packed...

I agree... I bet the places listed in the article have more user friendly trails in general than where most of us ride. I mean that in terms of not only challenging the terrain is, but parking, signage, and accurate maps. I know they have maps for Vietnam and Lynn Woods, for example, but good...

I have never ridden at any of the areas on that list, but I am glad it doesn't include Lynn Woods. I love Lynn Woods. Keep it off the radar of those that would be looking on Boston.com for riding spots! Vietnam gets enough traffic now due to the NEMBA trails back in there. I used to ride there...
