I was there in June to enjoy the "lefovers" from the previous winter:
Mammoth is a nice place to ski, but very hard if not impossible to get to in the winter, except from the L.A area.

I read somewhere that Mammoth was sold last year. This was before the Intrawest buy-out. Does anybody know who owns it know? Is it locally owned?

I had a blast there in March/April 2006. One weekend we got 4 feet of new snow.
