Loveland is only 30 minutes away, but I prefer to ski Copper, which is 45 minutes away. Yes, you can count your mountain homes too!

Used to have the vaunted Craigmeur 15 minutes away but no longer. (Way back in the day Snow Bowl 5-10 minutes away - wish it was still there) Now I would say Mountain Creek and Hidden Valley at about 30-35 minutes. Only problem there is I haven't skied in NJ in decades and have no plans to. Closest mountain I will ski is my home mountain Camelback at 45 minutes all super highway.

The closest is Lost Valley at around 20 minutes. They only have about 240 feet of vert, so I usually only end up there once or twice a season when I have a few hours to kill. Beyond that, Mt Abram and Shawnee Peak are about an hour, and Sunday River (where I ski 90% of the time) is an 1:15.

Home in MA - 10 miles to Blue Hills. In VT it's about 3/10ths of a mile to the base lodge at Mt Ellen.

Where in MA? I used to live 10 minutes from Blue Hills too, in Milton right by East Milton Square.

For me, in MA, Bradford is about 20-25 minutes away. In NH, Black is the closest as the crow flies, but Attitash is closest by drive time (7-8 min).

30-35 min to Ski Sundown. 1:15 from Mount Snow.

My girl lives 10 min from Jiminy Peak and 15-20 min from Catamount and Butternut so her place is a good jump off point if I don't feel like driving to VT.

15-20 min. to Nashoba (next town over), ~50 min to Wachusett, ~60 min to Crotched or Pats Peak. Think Bradford is also within an hour but I've never been there.

How are all those blacks? Beat you up much?

My local hill is Greek Peak, Virgil NY, 37 miles, 40 minute drive. The few blacks there beat no one up. ;-)
