I do feel like one of the lucky few that has been able to spend one off season in Chile and one in Australia. But like you that was in college and before kids. I have yet to ski Europe and I don't know if I will be able to swing it now with 2 kids and the financial burden. I was psyched to be able to get 10 days in Alberta and B.C. this year

We don't have kids..
I went to Kashmir 3 years ago... :)

Interior BC is where it's at.. I'd rather spend my time a Kicking Horse and Fernie than Whistler Blackcomb... personally..

I got to 52 on the facebook thing. I've got a few more that weren't there and the Europe areas are tough because they list a bunch of areas the kind of can be lumped into regions. So it's really impossible to keep an accurate count there.

Interesting that it shows the Vail & friends logos. They don't show them on the liftopia website, I assume Vail wouldn't give them permission.

I never got to ski Whistler but we did hit up Kicking Horse, Revelstoke, and Fernie. All three absolutely amazing. Whistler may be bigger but I imagine the terrain at any of those 3 mountains are equal if not harder than most of the stuff at Whistler. The best night sleep I have ever had is the night after my first day at Kicking Horse.

I find the snow to be better and drier by the time it makes it from the coast(W/B) to the interior...
And there's less crowds..

Not enough. The big 3 in Maine plus RIP Squaw Mtn. Cannon & Wildcat in NH Keystone CO Blue mtn, Jack Frost, Shawnee, Camelback, Doe Mtn in PA so 12. I do have that card that was for sale 9 tix for 119 so I will hit at least 4 or 5 more in VT this year.
Growing up in PA i burned out on those ski areas quickly and didn't ski much, it was almost boring.
