I'm hooked. It's amazing how 11" of snow can even make New Jersey look pretty.

I haven't been there since this snow fall, but it tends to be a pretty popular area for hikers. If you are looking for some possibly untracked snow, aim for the eastern end of the park. Less scenic, but it tends to see less traffic.
I haven't been to Watchung since it was legal to MTB there. I have a pair of XC BC skis that have never been used. For a first timer, which end of the park would be easiest?
Good suggestions. Weston is great for getting a few laps in when conditions would otherwise be unskiable, and renting gear for the first time if you just want to try it. Great Brook is gorgeous. I've never been to Windblown but I've heard it's quite nice.Folks close to Boston should check out Weston Ski Track (they make snow), Great Brook in Carlisle or Windblown in New Ipswich NH.
