Resort:
Gunstock

Conditions: Packed Powder, Powder stashes (woods, and a few places)

Review: So after getting a late start this morning (7:30am), and really sore from shoveling way too much snow, and also broke as hell too... I ended back at the home base even though I had my heart set on Magic. Although by the time I rolled into the parking lot at Gunstock, all that washed away and I had the mountain basically to myself for the day. I was able to get in about 18 runs today, and that was including being wicked sore from shoveling last night and this morning. Everything ski'd really well, and powder to be found in the woods, and just all in all a great day... They left ricochet ungroomed (which was great and they need to do more of that). I am just happy I made it out today and just to ski, since well... It's certainly better than being in the office.

Nope, though someone did poach it around 2pmish as there were fresh tracks on it but the ropes were still up

Make sure you hit that when it is open, fun natural trail.

I see you were in the Recoil Glades. Were the Upper Recoil Glades open? The entrance is at the top of Recoil skiers left, they dump you into where your picture is. Much tighter then the entrance at bottom of Recoil, super fun when the snow is nice.

I hit it last year in march, love the trail but it needed some major manicuring. They could have opened it yesterday, but it would have been pretty bony. If next thursday's storm pans out, it should be good to go. Too bad I will not be able to ski next week damn family
